It’s getting to be awfully difficult to keep up with Kaytranada these days. In 2015, his output has been nothing short of prolific, placing his house-inflected burners with names big and small., the best and the least known. Within the last few weeks alone, we’ve heard the likes of Rejjie Snow, Wiki, Govales and Isiah Toothtaker over your boy’s righteous riddims. Add the fact that he’ll be prominently featured on Anderson Paak’s sophomore LP Malibu and you realize that that output is already getting ready to takeover the next year just as he did this one.
But today he strikes back with a “little mix just for fun,” sneak releasing a very dope, 43-minute mix of rare bossa grooves, deep boogie cuts and funk galore on the Over Hear Vol. 1 mix, providing the perfect score to your morning commute or even just a little something to unwind to once the 9-to-5 lets out. So slip into something more comfortable, put your feet up, take a nice long pull of the L and vibe out to Kaytranada’s new Over Hear Vol. 1 mix down below.
