Alessia Cara Goes For Pop Gold On The Uplifting New Single “Wild Things”

It’s been a trip watching Alessia Cara‘s star rise over the year. She’s made a rare jump from r&b adolescent to soon-to-be pop darling in just a few short months, leaning on her brooding debut smash “Here,” which is now sitting pretty on both American and Canadian charts (yes, Cara is another north-of-the-border stock on the up.) Since then, she’s signed to Def Jam, released a unanimously-praised debut EP in Four Pink Walls, made her Tonight Show debut and is now getting ready to unleash to a full-length follow-up with the forthcoming Know-It-All LP.
