Anderson Paak Continues His Funk Rampage w/ “Am I Wrong” ft. ScHoolBoy Q

Sh*t, Damn, Motherf**ker–It just doesn’t end with this guy! Less than 48 hours after releasing the absurdly funky and inventive track “The Season/Carry Me,” Anderson Paak is back with “Am I Wrong,” a disco-boogie romp that features rhyme stylings of ScHoolBoy Q. Produced by Vancouver beatsmith POMO, the cut is almost too much to take. All those guitars, those shapeshifting bass notes, those jangling trumpets and on-the-money claps. It’s that gliding, dusk-kissed bridge and the way it modulates perfectly back up to the hook. “Am I Wrong” is the sound of a four minute funk revolution, and Anderson Paak is riding atop the tank’s cannon, waving his freak flag high.
